Si tratta di un dipinto acquerello firmato 9" x 15" che mostra una barca da pesca solitaria ancorata da Horseshoe Bay che è una delle più pittoresche e robuste ambientazioni adiacenti alla città di Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Ricordo vividamente la creazione di questo dipinto e di essere totalmente avvolto nell'emozione che ho sentito che era uno legato a quella mistica ma remota sensazione che si ottiene in barca fuori da questa linea costiera robusta foderata con alti alberi Douglas Fir. C'è una quiete e tranquillità che riempie l'aria e si percepisce una sensazione totale di calma qui. Abbiamo spesso inverni piovosi nuvolosi qui a Vancouver e ho cercato di catturarlo in montagna e alberi che si arrampicano sempre così in alto sui lati della montagna. L'uso di grigi e bianchi con toni neri e blu crea davvero quell'umore qui. Vi incoraggio ad aprire ogni immagine e 'zoom' su di esso per vedere i miei forti pennellate , ma soprattutto per vedere come anche in questa scena coperta ho aggiunto in flick di colori brillanti tra gli alberi che se visti in buona illuminazione porta una vera luminosità e gioia a questo dipinto! È uno dei miei preferiti, spero ti piaccia.

Cards
